Bread Financial® recognized as a 2023-2024 Best Company to Work For by U.S. News & World Report

For its holistic approach to well-being and commitment to creating a workplace where associates are empowered to thrive, Bread Financial™ was recently included on U.S. News & World Report's 2023-2024 Best Companies to Work For list in the Industrials and Business sector. The list, which includes 349 companies across 20 industries, measures how companies are meeting employee expectations in comparison to competitors, while also equipping jobseekers with a tool to evaluate potential workplaces.
U.S. News, in partnership with Revelio Labs and ESG Book, analyzed publicly available employee sentiments and other data to evaluate how companies support the everyday experiences of its workers across six key areas. Bread Financial received a top score in the areas of work-life balance, quality of pay, stability and (sense of) belonging.
"We are honored to be named to the U.S. News & World Report's Best Companies to Work For list," said Brandy Sullivan, senior vice president and chief people and culture officer, Bread Financial. "We believe our people are our biggest asset, and this recognition is a reflection of our commitment to create a workplace where our associates can be their authentic selves and thrive both personally and professionally."

To attract, develop and retain top talent, Bread Financial prioritizes its “Empowered to Thrive Associate Value Proposition.” This framework ensures associates feel:
- Cared For – By offering programs and benefits to support total well-being
- Understood – By seeking and acting on associate feedback
- Connected & Invested – By fostering an engaged and purpose-driven community
- Supported – By enabling career development and advancement
- Valued – By offering competitive compensation and recognizing and rewarding contributions
“In lockstep with our mission, vision and values, our associate value proposition ensures we are creating a personalized and memorable associate experience,” said Sullivan. “Developing high levels of associate pride and engagement requires significant attention to topics such as growth and development, rewards and recognition, workplace flexibility and the evolving needs of the workforce of the future.”
To calculate the list, U.S. News considered companies that were a part of the Russell 3000 index as of June 2023 and ranked in the top 20% of their industry. Additionally, companies were required to have a minimum of 75 Glassdoor reviews written between 2020-2022. For further details on how metric scores were calculated, see the methodology.
