Bread Financial® kicks off 2025 as recipient of local, national and global awards

Recognized by respected organizations such as Forbes, Newsweek and Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO), these accolades showcase the company’s commitment to responsible business practices and the well-being of its associates.

Newsweek awarded Bread Financial with a five-star rating, its highest possible, on its annual “America’s Greenest Companies” list, which recognizes publicly traded and private companies that prioritize sustainable practices. Forbes’ America’s Best Large Employers

Bread Financial earned a spot on Forbes’ “America’s Best Large Employers” list, attributable to fostering a work environment where associates can flourish. U.S. News & World Report Best Workplaces for Supporting Caregiving 

U.S. News & World Report included Bread Financial on its “Best Workplaces for Supporting Caregiving” list. Compiled in collaboration with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Milken Institute, the list was developed by analyzing U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Companies to Work For" list and using a weighted scoring methodology that considers caregiving-related benefits, employee sentiment and publicly available data. Bread Financial provides its associates with access to a family concierge service to assist them throughout the process of securing care for their children or adult/elderly relatives, in addition to a caregiving resource hub that includes tools and resources to help strengthen resilience, manage health care needs and find support. 

2025 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service from Smart Business Network Columbus 

Bread Financial recently received The Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service from Smart Business Network Columbus. Founded in 1998 and awarded annually, the Pillar Award for Community Service honors businesses of all types and sizes dedicated to making central Ohio a better place to live.  Bread Financial was nominated by its community partner Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX) for supporting the nationwide expansion of its evidence-based programming that equips girls with the skills they need to navigate today’s challenges.

GoBankingRates Best High-Yield Savings Accounts for 2025  

GoBankingRates, an online resource that provides consumers with information on personal finance, investing, retirement and financial products, recently awarded Bread Financial with a five-star rating on its “10 Best High-Yield Savings Accounts of 2025” list.  GOBankingRates determined the ratings by evaluating banks based on minimum deposit to open an account, monthly savings fee ratio, minimum needed to earn APY, savings APY, and average mobile app rating. Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO): Healthy Worksite Gold Level Employer

Bread Financial was also recognized as a “Healthy Worksite Employer” from the Healthy Business Council of Ohio (HBCO) for the 10th-consecutive year.  Applicants were scored on the extent that their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity and ensure a healthy work environment, with Bread Financial earning gold-level status for the fifth time.
